The PR Office organised the launch event for disruptive Chinese technology company, Kuang-Chi’s, UK investment strategy, and its first UK investment announcement of $30million in Gilo Industries Ltd, a Dorset based advanced aerospace technology company.
The event was held at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Westminster, on 16 January 2017, and saw over one hundred politicians, peers, and members of the technology and international trade industries attend to learn about the investment fund.
The event was chaired by Mark Hedley, Director of the ICT Sector at the China-Britain Business Council, and included a speech by the Assistant Director, Head of Advanced Manufacturing at HM Government Department for International Trade, Michael Essex, who spoke on the opportunities of trade and investment between Britain and China.
Dr Liu, CEO and Founder of Kuang-Chi, spoke on the development of a Global Community of Innovation of more than 2,600 employees in 18 countries and regions which is dedicated to disruptive innovation and principal investment in cutting-edge technology sectors including communications, metamaterials, and space technology and the exciting prospect of working in the UK.
Gilo Cardozo, Founder of Gilo Industries Ltd, spoke on his passion for aviation technology and the importance of the investment by Kuang Chi to develop exciting new manufacturing technologies.
